We wrapped ourselves inside a dirty blanket

♥ Memories are made in the coldest winter

Remember when getting high meant swinging on the playground?
When protection meant wearing a helmet?
When the worst things you could get from boys were cooties?
Dad’s shoulders were the highest place on earth and mum was your hero?
Your worst enemies were your siblings.
Race issues were about who ran the fastest.
War was only a card game.
And the only drug you knew was cough medicine.
When wearing a skirt didn’t make you a slut.
The most pain you felt was when you skinned your knees, and goodbyes only meant until tomorrow?

And we couldn’t wait to grow up

"If you like rainbows you gotta deal with the rain." -- Dolly Patterson

I really liked this quote until I realised last night, what if the rain turns into a thunderstorm, and the rainbows never come?

I break the rules, so i don't care

I had dinner at Hilton's Glass Brasserie on the weekend with D - lovely atmosphere and the food was quite nice, but not as much as Emily hyped it to be.

Oysters

Panfried quail, shaved foigras, salad lyonnaise

Rabbit loin, with chorizo mushroom duxelle, raviolo of leg, herbed rack, baby pear, creamed spinach

Steamed Port Lincoln jewfish, banana prawns, snake beans

My favourite dish would have to be the panfried quail - tender deliciousness! (Apologies for my lack of photography skills!)

Outfit for the night,
Little Miss Sew red dress
Asos silk blazer
T & Co heart ring

You fill up my senses, like a night in the forest

I woke up this morning to this big black box on my doorstep

And inside was...
ASOS silk blazer in black
I'm so glad I sized down because the fit is perfect! This blazer is quite thin so it'll be great for these random chilly summer days.

I love stockings and how they suck in the lumps and bumps, but a few drinks laters, they're not too comfortable anymore! Hence I decided to try out Leona Edminston stay-ups, and so far so good.

And plus, how gorgeous is the packing?

A friend linked me to this, John Denver's Annie Song!

Since she brought you down.

I finally received my liptars that were on backorder from IMATs!

Here are some swatches

Pagent

Hush

Pagent + Hush (this is my favourite combination!)

I've read so many reviews that said "a little goes a long way" and finally understood what that meant when I tried these out. You literally need a pen-point sized ball of product and that's more than enough for your entire lip! I love how versatile these lip tars are - you can mix them with each other or layer under existing lipsticks, and the lasting power is quite good too. However, it can get a bit dry, and my main gripe with this is trying to find a little airtight container to store mixtures of colours in.

OCC seemed to have downsized their lip tars from 10ml to 8ml, but since you need so little product everytime, I guess it doesn't make that much of a difference.

For those in Australia, your can purchase these at http://www.makeupandglow.com.au/
